The next challenge is just around the corner, beginning on July 11th, 2018. I hope you can join us!

Please fill in the form below, and I will help you reserve your spot!

Our 2017 and early 2018 groups reported better quality of sleep, easier weight management, more energy, increased emotional peace, less cravings, better self care and increased cooking skills. Plus they have shared that they are far more aware than before of what they are eating and much more skilled at deciphering food labels.

Here’s what they said about their experience:

“This has been a real eye opener for me.”

“I have learned how to bake without added sugar and appreciate so many foods that I never would have before.”

“I realized how many processed foods I had been eating..yikes.”

“I feel more free and in control.”

“I feel less dependence on sugar and processed foods.”

“I am now aware of what I am putting into my body”

I would love to invite you to join me in the 28-Day Challenge.

Life can be really hard sometimes, but as Glennon Doyle once said, “We can do hard things.”

So why does it seem impossible to kick sugar to the curb for so many of us?

It is because dietary sugar is addictive, and on average Americans are consuming 22 teaspoons of sugar per day. Worse yet, kids are consuming more like 34 teaspoons per day.

The truth is that excess sugar makes us sick. It is becoming more widely accepted everyday that, in excess, sugar is a major contributor to almost every modern degenerative disease including heart disease, cancer, dementia, and type 2 diabetes. Consumption is also positively correlated with depression, acne flares, and can negatively affect fertility.

Like sugar, white flour is also a major contributor to many health issues. We now know that contrary to what we once thought, healthy dietary fats are not the culprits when it comes to obesity and our modern disease paradigm. The culprits are sugar and flour, especially the processed and heavily refined foods they are in, like pastas, cookies, cakes, pastries, pretzels and more.

If it is bad for our bodies and addictive, then quitting sugar makes sense, but we need a better way to decrease our consumption of sugar, because if it were easy, we would have already decreased our intake, or eliminated it all together.

As I have thought about what it will take to help my clients remove excess sugar from their menus, or at least abstain from this insidious health squasher for a set amount of time, I keep coming back to the concept of support. Like with any other life challenge, we all need cheerleaders, teachers, coaches and teammates to join us on the field, encourage us in a positive direction, and help us cross the finish line.

Going cold turkey on sugar, and kicking it to the curb for four weeks, can help us identify what issues it might be causing for us. This is where the 28-Day No-Sugar Challenge comes in.

At the end of the challenge, the results could be sweet! Our 2017 groups reported better quality of sleep, easier weight management, more energy, increased emotional peace, less cravings, better self care and increased cooking skills. Plus they have shared that they are far more aware than before of what they are eating and much more skilled at deciphering food labels.
