Ten years ago, I couldn’t find my way around the kitchen if my life depended on it. I didn’t enjoy cooking because I wasn’t any good at it. What I have learned through the years is that sourcing ingredients, preparing food, cooking for family and friends, and navigating the kitchen becomes much easier, and fun, with practice. As a certified nutritionist, I know that doing more of my own food prep and cooking has been one vital way to harness the amazing energy and power of nutritious food.

I am here to help you get started in your kitchen, make practical decisions at the grocery store, and work towards a balance in the triad: nourishing one’s self, healing emotionally, and better understanding the interconnectivity of all things. Making even subtle shifts in the way you shop and eat, can go a long way. Good nutrition is an important part of any wellness endeavor, no matter your age, your health status or your background.

When you step through my office door, there are no judgements. It doesn’t matter where you are beginning or what obstacles you face. We develop sound, manageable strategies together.

Ten years ago, I couldn’t find my way around the kitchen if my life depended on it. Today, I know that my quality of life did depend on it.

Let me help you find your way around your kitchen. It doesn’t need to be laborious or more expensive. We debunk diet myths, help you become a savvier consumer and give you the tools to nourish yourself and your family, no matter your skill level or where you’re beginning.

I would love to work with you. I see private clients in my office in San Francisco, do phone consults with non-local clients and small classes in kitchens all over the Bay Area.
